Children Co-Design Robotics and AI Literacy (CoRAL) is a platform and curriculum to provide K–12 learners with accessible, hands-on experiences in robotics and artificial intelligence.
Through collaborative robot design and interactive AI activities, CoRAL helps students develop early robotics and AI literacy and transition from passive technology users to active creators who can understand, design, and interact with intelligent robotic systems.
CoRAL has engaged local K–12 students and teachers as well as international undergraduate participants, connecting robotics research, AI education, and hands-on learning across different age groups and backgrounds.
Students learn by designing, building, programming, and interacting with robotic systems.
Activities introduce fundamental ideas in artificial intelligence through accessible and interactive experiences.
Learners contribute ideas and help design how robots and AI systems should behave and interact.
Hands-on robotics and AI learning through collaborative robot design and interactive activities.
Selected moments from CoRAL activities, highlighting hands-on interaction, collaborative robot design, and robotics and AI learning with students.
