Damilola Babalola

Damilola Babalola is a Computer Science Ph.D. student at North Carolina State University, specializing in Data Mining and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to enhance educational technology and improve learning outcomes. His research focuses on leveraging large-scale keystroke data to provide intelligent feedback and personalized insights into students' writing processes, empowering educators and supporting student growth.

Damilola holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Nigeria. Before pursuing his Ph.D., he gained about three years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, where he designed and developed scalable software solutions.

Looking ahead, Damilola aims to combine his expertise in research and engineering to develop innovative, impactful solutions in the edtech industry. Also, he hopes to become an educational policy advisor in his home country, Nigeria, later on.
