On March 10th, 2008, our visualization work with Dr. Gary Lackmann and his research team in the NCSU Department of Marine, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences was featured on the RENCI web site as well at the NCSU Department of Computer Science web site. On February 1, 2008, we hosted a session with the NCSU Computer Science Department's Graduate Student Association and the NCSU Association for Computing Machinery/ Association of Information Technology Professionals student chapters that provided students with an opportunity to see the RENCI@NCSU Partners I Suite 1500 Facility. This session also included a presentation by two members of the team who worked on the NCSU Virtual Campus - Google Earth Project.

On October 18, 2007, from 6 PM - 8 PM, we hosted an IEEE Eastern North Carolina Section meeting where we provided an open house of the RENCI@NCSU Partners I Suite 1500 Facility.

Our Visual Precision Agriculture work was a featured discussion on the Renaissance Computing Institute's web page in early July 2007 and also noted on the NC State University Department of Computer Science's web site, for more details, click here.

On April 14, 2007, we opened our collaboration room at Engineering Building 2 Room 1235 on NC State University's Centennial Campus. The EB2 Rm1235 visualization wall became operational on May 10, 2007.

On March 23, 2007, we had the official opening for our new Renaissance Computing Institute's Engagement Facility on the NC State University Campus!
