  RealSearch

The Software Engineering Realsearch Group is committed to sound empirical software engineering research. Our roots are in Extreme Programming and Pair Programming research, but we have expanded into the areas of reliability, security, static analysis, and test case prioritization. Working closely with our industry partners, we conduct our research with the goal of improving the software development process and software quality.

  The Privacy Place

The Privacy Place is committed to disseminating information in the form of research results and relevant technical privacy developments in an effort to aid policy makers, software developers and public citizens. The Privacy Place is staffed by a inter-disciplinary team of researchers at North Carolina State University's Computer Science and Business Management departments as well as the Georgia Tech College of Computing, the Purdue University Computer Science Department and the University of Lugano Communication Sciences department.

  Automated Software Engineering

The NCSU ASE Research group develops automated techniques and tools for software testing and verification, and software development by exploiting dynamic analysis, static analysis, constraint solving, theorem proving, model checking, data mining, machine learning, and software visualization.

  Multiagent Systems

The multiagent systems and service-oriented computing lab studies various aspects of engineering large-scale, open information systems. Research includes new abstractions, formal methods, and tools.
